NGWS stands for New Group of World Servers. This is the name that has been used to identify a large and growing group of our brothers and sisters the world
around who hear a different drummer than the usual one that leads into the
conventional dead end values of modern societies. Rather than the self, these
men and women serve the world.
This is a group of women and men who cannot be classified by any of the usual
frames one might expect to enclose a group such as class, race, political
affiliation, religious preference or even occupation. These sisters and brothers
come from all walks of life and all levels of the age and economic spectrum,
from kindergarteners to the elder brothers and sisters, from the so called 1% to
the unemployed and homeless. Their collective face is the face of Humanity.
Members of this group of world servers can be found literally everywhere on the
planet, involved in literally every aspect of planetary life.
These men and women operate from an emerging kind of consciousness. This
consciousness is known as group consciousness and is the observable result of
the evolution of consciousness within the human kingdom. Group consciousness is
concerned with the welfare of wholes, with the long-range health of entire
systems. Members of this group do not support or encourage systems that feed or
sustain only a part of a structure or community at the expense of other parts of
the community. They understand the imperatives of the Common Good and the
General Welfare as the only viable path for the continuation of human evolution
on this planet. Their group conscious point of view renders them acutely aware
of the interrelatedness of all life and results in their efforts to build
sustainable systems that nurture the whole.
Does this sound like you or people you know? Well spread the news –
because these kinds of brothers and sisters are the seed persons of our
long looked-for New World. Maybe we can share in this movement for
best way to find yourself
is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
