BUSINESS FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY


Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) is a membership organization for companies of all sizes and sectors. BSR's mission is to help its member companies achieve long-term commercial success by implementing policies and practices that honor high ethical standards and meet their responsibilities to all who are impacted by their decisions. BSR also operates the Business for Social Responsibility Education Fund (BSREF), a 501(c)(3), non-profit research and education organization that promotes more responsible practices in the broader business community.

SPIRIT AT WORK, SAN FRANCISCO CHAPTER

Spirit at Work (SAW), San Francisco Bay Area chapter, is a chapter of the International Association of Spirit at Work, a non-profit association providing community, information, and education for those who are interested in integrating their spirituality in the workplace. SAW is launching an Author Series in 2005, hosting pioneering and leading edge authors on issues relating to spirit and soul at work.

SAW's participants include a diverse collective of interested people committed to the exploration of spirit in their own lives, and to being a potent, creative force for generating a leap in consciousness about the world of work. We attract a broad spectrum of people from throughout the Bay Area, including business owners, managers, authors, consultants, entrepreneurs, teachers, coaches, artists, and others.

The Provender Alliance

The Provender Alliance, which began in 1977, is a non-profit membership organization providing networking, advocacy, and education to natural foods and related companies doing business in the Northwest. The word "provender" means provisions or foodstuffs.
