Bruderhof Generation Connection

It’s no longer possible for every family to care for aging parents or grandparents at home. But there is much that can be done to bridge the gap and bring generations together. To build stronger, healthier and happier communities, we need to encourage more intergenerational interaction. Our website will share stories, experiences and suggestions for action, and will connect old people with young people.

Global Children's Organization

Children are the most traumatized and forgotten victims of global, national, community, and family violence. Reports state that 9 out of 10 casualties of war are civilians, and that 1.5 million children died in war zones in the past 10 years. Another 4 million children have been permanently injured by weapons such as bombs, bullets, land mines, chemical weapons and machetes. In addition to this terrible loss of life, the report noted that millions of children have been traumatized by the effects of war, 12 million have lost their homes, and 5 million have been forced to live in refugee camps in the past decade.
